Yes, BoatDek can be installed over checkerplate flooring. We offer a couple of installation options:

Grind Back: Grind down the existing checkerplate surface and then adhere our Premium EVA Flooring directly to the prepared surface.
Dome-in: Install our Cleaver Dome-in EVA Flooring directly over the existing checkerplate. This option maintains the checkerplate surface while providing a layer of comfortable and durable BoatDek flooring.
